Review On M.Y.’s AirBnB Guesthouse
M.Y. was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the my entire LONG stay. He is easily reached, replies quickly, and has helped me with many things including but not limited to: translating, searching naver for plastic surgery reviews, picking me up at surgery, showing me in person where the congee shop is, etc, etc. Given that I am a solo female traveler having surgery in Seoul, I was initially unsure how my stay would go, however Mooyup made things easier and his home became my home for 3 weeks. He is very friendly yet professional and is NOT sleazy. The location is extremely convenient especially if you are staying for surgery in the Apujeong area. The Apujeong train station is within walk-able distance and is part of the Orange train line which makes sightseeing and shopping immensely easy to get to. I would stay here again as it was very affordable, comfortable, convenient, and most importantly, my belongings and I were safe and secure! ^_^v Thank you Mooyup!

Review on Lee-En Clinic
I went to Lee-En to have a consult on my eyebrows. It's located in a back alley of the back alley so keep an eye out for their logo on a tiny sign that shows a list of companies in a building. The place was packed but so tiny so be prepared if you are claustrophobic! The consultants there only speak Chinese and since I have extremely sparse eyebrows, I was told that I was not going to be able to achieve a good result. The consultant then pushed for me to fix my hair line which my friend and I thought was a joke since there is absolutely nothing wrong with my hairline haha... *touch wood*

Review on Namdaenum Market
I came to Namdaenum market on the premise that it was the best place to exchange money. Wrong. There are A LOT of places to exchange money however their rates cannot be compared to the rates given at Seoul Station. The place has a market feel however the prices are just as high as Myendong which was very disappointing. Come to this market if you want traditional Korean items like bathmats, aprons, cooking tools, hanboks. Do ask for a discount if you are buying multiple items at this place! The owners of shops are friendly compared to Myendong.

Review on Myendong
When they say this is a tourist trap, listen! It really is. Haha.. But the place is fun to walk around and the prices are not much different from Namdaenum market. I would suggest going for the food and atmosphere rather than the merchandise. I did manage to snag a $10,000 krw dress which is very nice - I ended up buying two of them in different colors. I also found a clearance RedEye store where I bought several pairs of shoes for $5usd each. I love a good bargain especially since I am always on a budget! I probably won’t be back here unless I am keen on visiting the Hello Kitty café again. Do note that this market is swarming with sales assistants trying to get you to take "free" samples on the condition you walk into their store and try some products. You can keep the sample so as long as you browse their store. Below I have attached a photo of me at the Hello Kitty cafe in Myendong!

Review on Ehwa Women's University
Ehwa Women's University was probably my favourite place to shop for clothes and accessories out of all the places I've visited. It's more of a local shopping area with lots of Korean teenagers walking around. There are also delicious food vendors and fruit vendors where you can get $1USD pineapple on a stick to help with your swelling! Here's a photo below of the stairs up to the exit! I always chose to walk up these stairs rather than waiting for my turn on the escalator! I think it helped with my swelling and definitely my weight loss!

Review on Hongdae Market

Hongdae Market was interesting! It's a street of clothes shops with some fancy dessert places as well. Things are slightly more expensive than Ehwa University despite the item and item quality being exactly the same. Nonetheless it was very fun to visit! See attached photo of a fun ice-creamery we visited!

Review on Namsan Seoul Tower + Love Locks

This was good fun! I went hiking up the hill to Namsan Tower on my 7th day post op with no troubles. Despite we didn't pay the extra entry fee to enter the tower itself, the views on the ground floor were spectacular and enough! Going during the day time allows you to see the view of Seoul with the Han River easily however going at night will give you a light-show view.

Review on Geongbukk Palace + National Museum + National Folk Museum

It cost $3usd to enter the palace however the museums  next to it are free. When you enter the palace it may quickly seem disappointing but don't give up and keep walking!! I almost turned around and left because it was so hot in the summer heat but going further in proved worthwhile and very enjoyable. After that feel free to visit the National Folk Museum which gave good cover from the weather. I was also given a souvenir of a printed "lucky" painting! I thought this museum was definitely worth a visit including the park near by. The National Museum is worth a quick peek but if you don't have time you could probably skip this one as many of the citations were only in Korean.

Review On Air China Flight (To Korea)
We were told that Air China closes their check in 3 hours prior to departure so we arrived two hours too early!! They were wrong! Anyway, we got to the airport very early and the check in counter did not open till 3.5 hours before departure. Didn't matter - it worked out well. No complaints about the flight probably since I am a shorty morty - the 6ft tall Aussie man next to me had his knees touch the back of the seat in front of him though! I thought the food was also yummy! I included photos of both my meals below - I did however found it odd that we were not allowed to use our electronics throughout the entire flight (you can see in their safety guide below). A lady tried to use her cellphone on airplane mode and was still told she could not. This was contrasts on the flight back from Korea where electronics were not restricted after take off and before landing so as long as it was on airplane mode. Perhaps it was because the flight back was in a newer aeroplane? Not sure! It didn't bother me though - I was just glad the food was yum!

AIR CHINA FLIGHT REVIEW:
Maybe it's because I've flown one too many times with Air Asia, but I found Air China to be quite pleasant. Either equally pleasant as Air Asia or just slightly better. Would I fly to Air China again? Yeah sure, if the price was right.
Food was delicious and despite that it may look bland, it was very tasty.
I'm 5ft short... or tall however you want to call it. So I had no complaint about leg room however the guy next to me was over 6ft tall and had a lot of trouble getting comfortable. When he sat, his knees were pretty much touching the back of his front seat.
Overall the flight was wonderful... for me!
